Craig Potter (2020-) | 3NZ 2024, Round 5 winner last season |
Russell Biggs (2019-2020) |
Built for Russell Biggs back in 2019, this was the first Nitro Custom to fetaure 14 & 16″ ORI’s instead of standard 10″ & 12″ combo! Biggs competed one season in then named “Restless” before selling to Craig Potter the following season.
Craig Potter started out with a Toyota FJ40 Cruiser, before making the switch to a bog-standard A Class Suzuki Vitara for a few seasons in the mid 2000’s. After some time off he and wife Nicola returned back in 2016 with the ex-Ray Morris D Class Buggy. For the 2023 season Mike Hill jumped into the navigators seat, and at their second event the pair scored their first Top 10 finish, AND podium! They would back that up with another Top 10 finish at Te Puke before a retirement at Round 5 saw them out of contention for placings.
Nevertheless, at the National Final they were only 6 points shy of taking their maiden win in a very quick rise to the top of the competition! The team would finally take their maiden win at Round 5 of the 2024 season, putting themselves in title contention before claiming 3NZ that season.
Mike Hill previously navigated for Darrell Osbourne in C Class with the Tumbleweed buggy achieving 4th in Class twice in 2016 & 2017.
