The lower half of the North Island had one clear winner & runner-up over the season, with the final spot a three-way fight over three points!
C Class – Malcom McLeavey Memorial Trophy

Caleb Adlam & Jarrod Moss would defend the Malcolm McLeavey Memorial Trophy again this season, earning an unprecedented 3rd CZ C Class title in a row with their Makara Rare Spares Homebuilt.

John Hawken & Haare O’Brien would once again finish 2nd in their Homebuilt. This time though taking the win at Manawatu to stop Adlam & Moss from taking a clean sweep!

Shane Deadman & Brian Deadman would make a return to the National Series after a few seasons off, focusing on the local Central Zone events. Winners within the club scene they finished a solid 3rd place ahead of the Botlon’s & Matt Sterling & Korey St Clare whom were tied for 4th.
D Class & Overall

Mitch Caldow & Jamie Elms would be unstoppable in Central Zone, taking out zone honours with a clean sweep of all three rounds. Their dominance rewarded with a maiden 1st in D Class and 1st in Cental Zone (behind the wheel!) for 2025.

Right on their heels was the Rock’N’Horse of Scott Dickson & Caitlyn Thomsen. Together in their Cowper Truck they finished 2nd in all three rounds to solidify their result, Dickson’s best yet having finished 5th last season.

Former CZ champs Kevin Hermansen & Nick Hamilton would be best of the rest in 3rd, earning the result through shear consistency having not placed on the podium throughout the season.
G Class

Return of the Production Class and Daniel Howat & Cole Stockler in a Suzuki SJ, as ‘Gonzo‘ would make its debut. A standard 1000cc Suzuki SJ410 with no bells or whistles except for some Temu LEDs!
Despite running into issues at each event, the team from Wellington would hold on to collect a placing and with it the first CZ G Class title since Stephen ‘Grizz’ Andrell in 2019.
K Class

In K Class John Sheridan & Matt Wilson were back for their last season in ‘The Farm Truck’. They’d fix some stalling issues at Round 1 to go on and finally win CZ K Class at their third attempt.
