The Compensator is the latest buggy to come from Nitro Customs, and the first C Class build from the Auckland based outfit. Featuring the increasingly popular Honda K24, this buggy differs from the norm with a Rotrex Supercharger providing boost instead of a typical turbocharged setup often seen in C Class. With 20psi of boost squeezed into the little 2.4L, word on the street is it’s pushing numbers higher than those seen in D Class!
With Nitro Customs always updating their designs for the next one, this buggy features a cantilevered suspension setup on the rear, with the ORI shocks mounted down the trailing arms rather than following the norm of mounting them to the rear differential – What that all means is the 14″ of rear suspension travel has increased!

After a one-off appearance in 2024 and becoming the first to debut a Side-by-side to the NZ 4×4 Trials Series, Angus Hamilton returns for his first full season behind the wheel.
Alongside is Daniel Howat, a past A, E & G Class champ with years of experience, making a season return to the Navigators seat for the first time since his debut in 2015.
